What have you tried? What were the responses? "It doesn't work" provides
no information.
USB drives are seen as SCSI by Linux. They need the the USB core (usbcore),
the driver for the USB hardware ([eu]hci_hcd, I forget which), driver for
the SCSI subsystem (scsi_mod), code to interpret storage on a USB device
(usb_storage), and support for its filesystem. But some or all of this
might be done automatically for you.
Some systems mount things under /media or /mnt; might it be there?
