Hope not. I do not want to pull that stuff off of there and then re-do
it just to
put it back on.

When i did the resize, I had 9G just above the NTFS partition, that was
labled free. That partition is a primary partition.

At that point I had 17G of NTFS and 9G of free space on hda1

I was able to move hda2 which was the next partition up from the free space
down to where it was just above the NTGS partition leaving the free space
between it and the linux partitions.
