Wine runs Diablo II perfectly (in fact, better than running it in
windows on the same machine for at least one machine in my
experience). Put the install cd into the drive, mount it, and run the
installer: `wine Autorun.exe` (or whatever it happens to be). We were
able to change discs during the installation without a hitch (we've
got 3 copies installed for co-op multiplayer).
