My description was off. It's "Crackberg". I unchecked it, so it won't run
again, but as I was doing so it got selected and ran in the demo window.
But it worked, so the failure is intermittent. Argh.

I reinstalled the X video driver (Nvidia's binary-only one). No console,
and "DISPLAY=:0 startx" wouldn't run remotely ("user is not authorized",
blah).
