Well, the idea is that once you share your internet connection (totally
firewalled and bandwidth-shaped to like 256k), you'll be able to use other
people's FON wireless. In some places in Europe, you can get a wifi
connection almost anywhere because most cities are packed. You can do that
here as well but you have to use the unsecured 'linksys' wireless.
It's a good idea if it was more wide-spread and if there weren't too many
people like me who install linux on the router.
