You've got the right idea but the wrong concept. IMAP is supposed to
replace POP entirely. So you'd never POP your mail from Zed to begin
with. You'd just use an IMAP client from Alfa, Bravo, Charlie and Delta
to access and read the mail store you are keeping on Zed.

And in my case, I don't have an "ISP" per-se, I have my own machine
hosted in the data center at NKS. So I don't have the usual problem of
an ISP customer where the ISP doesn't want to keep all that mail on
their server, so there's no pressure on me to POP the mail off of the
server to which it's delivered initially.
