I get a headacke when ever I think of looking at
protocol analizers, and I am not familiar with the
output of your particular one, but I look at these
particular lines:

3: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,PROMISC,UP> mtu 1400
qdisc
pfifo_fast qlen 100
    link/ether 48:54:e8:2a:47:16 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
4: eth1: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,PROMISC,UP> mtu 1500
qdisc
pfifo_fast qlen 100
    link/ether 00:e0:4c:39:24:78 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff

I am not certain, but wonder if your subnet is
255.255.255.255 (binary of ff:ff:ff:ff, using the
"older" current TCP/IP protocol). I will forward this
to some network gurus for some feedback.
