No, there's just a separate "politics" list set up explicitly for the
more, shall we say, potentially incendiary topics.
The main slug list is intentionally (and acceptably by everyone I've
seen on the list so far) "policed" so that it remains a calm, polite and
peacful environment to talk about linux-related topics. If something
like this subject pops up here, they are politely (usually) requested to
take it to the politics list where the people who don't want to don't
have to see/read it.
However, on the politics list, participants are given pointy sticks and
broken bottles when they join up and everyone's happy. :)
