Let's approach this methodically and get it done in one shot.
Give me:
1. [the output of] "/sbin/lspci -v"
2. The IPs you want to use for your two interfaces,
plus your default gateway (or let me know which are DHCP)
I'm assuming you are not using an ISA NICs. If you are, you'll need
to give me the specific board, I/O and IRQ info.
