The first time a $164 power supply had to be purchased from Compaq to replace
a locally purchasable $29 power supply, because the fan hole and mounting holes
were intently made non-standard ended all further Compaq purchases by everyone
I ever met, because I consider this a cheep trick I shall never trust them.
HP did this in spades, like using non-standard keyboard connectors etc.
This proves that companies that cheat and lie will prosper. (think M$)
(Invest in them.)
