To protect a Windows side try
AVG AntiVirus I run it it is Free as in Beer for Personal as well
as what you mentioned about the other.

It Does E-mail in and Out NewGroups scns compressed attachments
the whole thing. I use to be a Die Hard McAfee only person. THis
Product does not hog as much resources and work just as good and believe me
for me to switch is not easy.

Also updates are about 7 to 10 days of course free as in beer updates.
Also a good friend of mine who is a die hard Norton User Loves it as well
and he has switched
for his bussiness.
