While doing a search for dual booting W2K and Linux I came across an
article that said that W2K with NTFS does not appear to call the Linux
OS when attempting to boot linux.
Does anyone have any input on this. My 'new' desktop at work is a W2K
Dell and I have shrunk the W2K partition to leave room for RH 8.0. And
I want to dual boot and would prefer to use LILO as by boot loader.
Also has anyone done this with a large HD where the Linux /boot
partition is beyond the 1024 Cyl barrier. The article seems to think
that this part needs to be before 1024.
Doesn't the new LILO have lba32 support? And I would think the bios in
this new box would have it as well.
