OK, if you already have properly formatted mpegs, (352x240, 29.97 or
23.976 fps, etc for VCD on NTSC), all you need to do is run `vcdimager
file1.mpg file2.mpg ...`
It will create videocd.bin and videocd.cue, where each input file is a
separate vcd track. To burn these, you use cdrdao. As in, `cdrdao
--device a,b,c --speed d --driver generic-mmc videocd.cue`
That having been said, DVD prices have really gone down. You can get
dvd-r for under $1 now, and dvd-rw for just over $1. And a dvd+-rw
burner for ~$100.
