I was going by the stuff in the SuSE Linux 10 book that is on the shelves,
there is a piece that tells you to use mysql control center to do some
configuring, I am suspecting that they took that from older distros, I was
looking at mysqladmin and suspect that it has superceeded the mysqlcc,
I just have to map the book instructions for mysqlcc to mysqladmin, this
is my first poke at db fun, so I am very step by step on this.
Maybe we need a mysqlsetupday-fest.... So the more properly trained in
this art can give those of us less blessed a bit of help. I know I can get it
up and running, but I tend to do things bassackwards and in the long run
probably not the correct sequence for long term stability, so proper guidance
is a Good Thing....
